Greg Norman is designing a new golf course along Mexico’s Pacific Coast.

The 10-hole, par-3 short course will be located at Mandarina resort and, notably, will take inspiration from famous holes at famous courses around the world, such as Augusta National, Pebble Beach, Pine Valley and Royal Melbourne. It is expected to be completed in 2025.

Nestled just east of the Pacific Ocean’s shoreline, select holes will overlook the Sierra del Vallejo mountain range as well as the existing Mandarina Polo & Equestrian Club, an amenity encompassing more than 10 acres.

“I am honored to be working yet again with RLH Properties on this incredible property in Mexico,” Norman said. “The course at Mandarina will be unlike any other. Each par 3 hole is an inspiration from some of the most iconic and classic courses from around the world, so playing it will produce a welcome sense of familiarity. We’re excited to provide golfers of all ages and abilities with an unforgettable experience at each hole.”

Greg Norman Golf Course Design has worked previously with RLH Properties at El Camaleón at Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Among the more than 120 other courses it has designed are The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip in Vietnam, The Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio, and Real El Prat Golf Club in Barcelona.
