Toro Lynx Central Control System Version 3.0

Toro will soon release Version 3.0 of its Lynx Central Control System.  Enhancements include station percent adjustment for duration, forced sequential program operation, and hole/area diagnostics for the popular GDC 2-Wire systems.

Being able to change station runtimes for short periods helps users to not only save water, but also from having to remember to reset station times with the automatic duration count down.

Overseeding a golf course can be a very demanding job. Getting your irrigation system to apply water exactly the way you want should not be. The sequential program operation in Lynx 3.0 now allows users to specify the exact order in which the sprinklers operate to ensure even wetting of the turf or seedbed.

Lynx now provides advanced hole- and area-based diagnostics for your GDC 2-wire system to make sure it’s always operating correctly. If there is a problem in your system, the new hole/area-based diagnostic makes it easier to pinpoint, saving you time and effort.

With every new version, Lynx strengthens its ability to provide peace of mind and to help golf course superintendents improve playing conditions and save water.  The number one reason customers give for buying Lynx is its ease of use. Here are a few comments from current users:

“Lynx is easy to setup and use on a daily basis, creating programs and seeing
everything in front of you without having to go to different screens.”

“The ease with which I can schedule and adjust my water program is the
best feature. It also reduced my water window considerably, which saved
my company on energy costs.”

“Ease of use, simplicity, yet very detailed and provides flexibility.”

Golf course personnel today need to stay connected to their irrigation control systems. Lynx provides complete remote access from any web-enabled device through either NSN Connect™ or Lynx Mobile. Anywhere, anytime, complete control.

For even more precise control, Lynx integrates with Toro’s Turf Guard® wireless soil monitoring system. This system monitors soil moisture, salinity and temperature information, and communicates it to the Lynx system to help users make more informed irrigation decisions.

“Lynx is designed to put all the information you need at your fingertips, from scheduling irrigation to troubleshooting,” said David Angier, senior marketing manager, Toro Golf Irrigation. “The 3.0 release brings your golf course irrigation control all together.”
