Golf courses and driving ranges now have a new and improved option for range picker cabs on Club Car Carryall Turf vehicles – an option that lets users personalize cabs to their climate and applications.
“After listening to our customers, we set out to bring a new range picker cab to market. The modular product offers unique features, delivers long life and accommodates lots of options, including a Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) kit,” says Kurt Meyer, commercial/industrial marketing manager. “A soft cab variant, for non-range picker applications, is also in the works.”
The result of nearly three years of design, development and refinement, the range picker cab fits all 2005 and newer Club Car Carryall Turf 1, 2 and 6 vehicles.
Available as Basic Cab or “Build-your-Own”
The modular cab is available in two basic packages, each of which can be customized with optional accessories:
•Driving Range Protective Cab: (Requires heavy-duty suspension.)
•Basic Structure: High-strength frame and roof structure only.

The new cab offers the following benefits:
•Vastly improved visibility through a larger windshield that lets the driver see the corners of the vehicle and the range picker. This helps prevent accidents and damage.
•Much better ventilation. The canopy’s integrated air scoops funnel air down into the cab and out through the back.
•Easy installation. The cab can be installed in approximately three hours. That’s about half the time it takes to install many competitors’ cabs, cutting labor costs.
•Lockable doors with full perimeter seal for a tight fit.
•Lighter in weight.
•Greater stability and an improved corrosion-resistant finish.
•A more attractive appearance. The rounded frame and canopy design creates a more refined automotive appearance.
“When reduced labor costs are factored in, the new cab gives end users real-world improvements at competitive pricing,” says Meyer.
