ArborSystems introduced a new carrying case for the Wedgle Direct-Inject Tree Treatment System for use by arborists and tree care professionals.
“We made it more convenient in the field when using the Wedgle with our new rugged, high-impact-plastic carrying case,” said Chip Doolittle, president of ArborSystems. “Everything is in one place which helps keep tree care professional and arborist’s trucks organized.”
The rugged, high-impact-plastic carrying case is included at no extra charge with every Wedgle Direct-Inject System new purchase. The all-in-one case holds the injection unit, all tools and up to four 120 ml chemical packs. The deluxe version includes 12 Portle injection tips and tip setter for treating conifers.
Existing Wedgle owners can upgrade their case for free with a purchase of four chemical packs in any combination of Shepherd fungicide, Pointer insecticide or Greyhound insecticide or three chemical packs in any combination of Shepherd fungicide, Pointer insecticide or Greyhound insecticide and the Portle kit which includes a tip setter and twelve Portle tips. Offer expires April 30, 2012.
The Wedgle is a no-drill tree treatment system -- an easy, fast and tree-friendly way to treat almost any tree in five minutes or less by tree care professionals. Chemicals are effectively delivered directly inside the tree at a known dose rate with virtually no environmental exposure associated with spraying, soil injections or drenching. It is the only tree trunk injection application method that does not require a drilled hole. ArborSystems no-drill method is similar to getting a small scratch or vaccine that heals quickly versus drilling which is comparable to a cut that requires stitches and can be prone to infections. This approach protects trees from further stress and allows trees to put their full energy into recovery.
“Direct-Inject applications deliver proven results with less chemical,” said Doolittle. “Tree care professionals appreciate that there is no drilling, no drilling damage, no guarding, no waiting for uptake, no return trips, no mixing and no spilling.”
ArborSystems provides a variety of tree injection systems and insecticides, fungicides, nutrients and tree growth regulators designed to meet a broad range of tree care needs. They are known for their tree-friendly Pointer Insecticide that has been credited with saving thousands of Ash trees from Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) since 2002 as documented by Michigan State University. All of the Wedgle’s hardware components are made in the United States. For more information, visit www.ArborSystems.com.
