To complement its full line of BERKELEY brand agricultural pumps, Pentair Flow Technologies is introducing PENTEK PPX 3-Phase Pump Panels. Offered in NEMA size 1 through NEMA size 5, these panels are specifically designed for irrigation, but are useful for many three-phase applications, especially harsh environments, providing valuable protection for motors, pumps and circuits.
Voice of customer (VOC) research drove the design and development of the PPX Panels and includes key features such as a NEMA 3R gasketed enclosure, heavy duty NEMA components, a pre-drilled back plate and a flange mounted disconnect switch. The panel also features extra space in the panel, allowing customers to install components specific to their application.
“Our customer research showed that the key features customers valued are durable construction materials, easy installation/maintenance and extra space in the panel” said Jim Hughes, Vertical Marketing Manager for Pentair Flow Technologies. “One look at our panel and you’ll see that it meets all of those needs.”
Durability & Versatility
The heavy duty NEMA industrial components include a fusible disconnect switch, a Class R fuse block, solid state adjustable overload, flange mounted 30mm operators and internal ground lugs. Designed for rugged, outdoor applications, the heavy gauge steel enclosure features a NEMA 3R gasketed design, which is rated for outdoor applications, phosphate undercoating, polyester powder top coat for high quality, scratch- and corrosion-resistant finish, service entrance rated with door hinge kit, extra wide design for application versatility and pre-drilled split backplate for easy mounting of accessories. PPX Panels are both UL508A and cUL listed and come with a standard 2-year warranty.
