Florida-based Toro distributor Wesco Turf announced it will help provide educational opportunities to the families of fallen and disabled service members by participating in the Toro Parts for Opportunities drive.
Ten percent of all eligible Toro parts sales from May 31-June 7 will be donated to local Folds of Honor scholarship applicants. Folds of Honor is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides K–12th grade or higher education scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members.
“We’re honored to join forces with Wesco Turf to contribute to an organization whose mission is to ensure that families who’ve sacrificed so much receive the education and opportunities they deserve,” said Toro senior golf marketing manager Josh Tubbs. “The Toro Parts for Opportunities Drive is a simple way to support the legacy of those brave Americans.”
“Wesco Turf will support the local SW Florida Folds of Honor chapter,” Wesco Turf President Billy
Gamble said. “The contributions, generated locally during this week-long parts drive, will go directly to providing academic opportunities to deserving families in our community.”
