Vereens Stores Inc added Brian Grill as the company’s new director of product and market development, serving golf course superintendents, sports turf managers and industry professionals.
With a proven track record in agronomy and fertility management, Grill brings his experience helping turf professionals achieve optimal results. His expertise in soil health, nutrient solutions and precision turf care makes him a key asset to Vereens' commitment to delivering industry-leading products and agronomic support.
“We’re thrilled to have Brian join the Vereens team,” Vereens Stores president Earl McMinn said. “His knowledge and dedication to the turf industry align perfectly with our mission to provide unparalleled service and expertise to our customers. Obviously, his knowledge of the Southeast and Florida will be valuable as we continue to expand our footprint.”
Based in Florida, Grill will work directly with turfgrass professionals to develop customized fertility programs that maximize plant health and performance.
Vereens also added Matt Pruitt as manager of its Keystone Heights, Florida, facility, located between Gainesville and Jacksonville.
Pruitt started with Vereens as an intern, learning warehouse operations and retail management, and working alongside outside sales.
“He proved to be a quick study,” McMinn said. “We are happy that after graduating (from) Clemson in 2023 that he has decided to come back to work with us. Having Matt on board reinforces our commitment to building a strong foundation in Florida. We are excited to bring the same service and support customers in the Carolinas, Georgia and Virginia have enjoyed for more than 63 years.”
