Valent Professional Products and Nufarm are using the 2024 GCSAA Conference and Trade Show to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the Valent-Nufarm Turf & Ornamental distribution relationship.
As Nufarm spotlights the launch of Velocity PM Poa Management Herbicide, a Valent R&D technology, the two teams will meet about the pursuit of several additional innovative portfolio opportunities with the joint purpose of delivering a growing range of golf turf management solutions that add value and advantage. A “10-Year Celebration” involving the companies is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 at Nufarm booth #3546.
The T&O portfolio partnership started in 2014 builds on more than a decade of successful collaborations between Valent and Nufarm in the U.S. and Canada. In U.S. turf, the relationship provides a portfolio of high-performing herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and plant growth regulators through Nufarm’s established distribution channels, producing several popular solutions, including SureGuard, Tourney, Pinpoint and Arena brands with many more spanning T&O, industrial vegetation management and aquatics solutions.
“Across the years and with even more strength looking forward, the complementary power of the Valent and Nufarm professional product portfolio has produced an important and effective tool set for our turf and ornamental customers,” said Nufarm vice president Turf & Ornamental sales Blaine Pinkerton.
Valent Professional Products senior business manager Heather Lowery added: "This collaboration delivers a substantial benefit for customers. Nufarm’s distribution network, technical expertise and operational excellence allows Valent’s portfolio investments to reach and support the professional market and we are proud of our long-standing partnership.”
