The Aquatrols Company announced the expansion of its research and development efforts by adding former golf course superintendent Troy Noble to its team.
Noble will serve as golf technical services manager for the Americas, where he will bring practical agronomic insights to the technical services team and guide the company’s PROVE end-user trial program. Noble joins The Aquatrols Company as a former GCSAA Class A superintendent with more than 11 years of experience at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, Massachusetts. Noble holds a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on turfgrass management from Iowa State University.
“Troy’s time as a golf course superintendent brings extensive first-hand knowledge to our technical services team to bridge the gap and better understand issues our end users are facing to better develop solution-based products,” said Dr. Matt Fleetwood, research and development/technical services manager. “We are thrilled to have Troy on our team.”
Noble will work directly with golf course superintendents on innovative trials with some of the new technology that The Aquatrols Company is currently creating and studying at their Aura Farm research and development farm in New Jersey.
“Troy has been instrumental in new product developments as a superintendent PROVE partner,” general manager Erick Koskinen said. “We are excited to have him on the team to leverage his many talents and insights as we continue to bring innovative solutions to today’s turf grass managers.”
