Troon has been selected to manage Westmoreland Country Club in Export, Pa.
With a celebrated history dating back more than a century, Westmoreland Country Club features an 18-hole golf course that provides members and their guests with a challenging variety of holes. The championship-style course designed by Dick Wilson and opened in 1954 also regularly hosts prestigious tournaments including U.S. Open qualifiers and many Western Pennsylvania and Tri-State PGA events. The club has long been known as the preferred choice for Pittsburgh-area memberships and the ideal location for golf outings and banquet events.
“Westmoreland Country Club is an exceptional private facility with an outstanding reputation,” said Jim McLaughlin, senior vice president, Troon Privé Operations. “We are honored to have been selected by them and are confident that our management practices will contribute positively to the experience at this highly revered club.”
“Troon is highly respected in the private club industry and we are confident their involvement will improve our club’s overall experience,” stated Sam Berkovitz, club president, Westmoreland Country Club.
