KemperSports announced that it has added Tidewater Golf Club in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to its growing portfolio, marking its expansion into the Palmetto State.
“Myrtle Beach has long been a favorite golf destination for avid golfers, and we are excited to be managing our first property there,” KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner said. “Tidewater is at the top of the market and has earned the reputation as one of the region’s must-play courses from locals and visitors alike with a great design and stunning views. We look forward to enhancing the golf experience and becoming a part of this passionate golf community.”
Situated along the picturesque Carolina coastline and nestled between the Intercoastal Waterway and Cherry Grove Inlet, Tidewater Golf Club was designed by local architect Ken Tomlinson. In 2022, the course was named South Carolina’s Golf Course of the Year by the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association.
Nine of Tidewater’s 18 holes play along the water. One of Tidewater’s most distinguishing features is the preservation of the surrounding natural environment.
