Stotz Equipment expands reach

Company becomes John Deere Golf distributor in the Idaho, Nevada and Montana territories previously covered by C&B Equipment.

Stotz Equipment, a family-owned John Deere dealership in the West, announced it will now be the John Deere Golf distributor in the Idaho, Nevada and Montana territories previously covered by C&B Equipment. The company will be servicing the territories out of its existing store locations in Twin Falls, Idaho, Bluffdale, Utah, and Casper, Wyoming.

Phill Miller, a golf and turf sales representative in Utah since 2016, will be the northern golf sales manager. Miller will oversee sales in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and northern Nevada.

Stotz Equipment has been a John Deere Golf & Turf distributor since John Deere entered the golf market in 1987. The company has invested heavily in the golf business by building a robust team that includes dealer principal Teddy Rosztoczy, a dedicated golf sales manager since 2011. In recognition of its efforts, Stotz Equipment was awarded John Deere’s Golf Distributor of the Year for North America in 2022.

“We are excited about this new opportunity and can't wait to get to know all the people involved in the golf and turf industry in the new territories we will be covering,” Rosztoczy said.

Stotz Equipment was founded as Arizona Machinery in 1947 by Fred Elder and two partners.
