The employee-owners of PBI-Gordon Corporation announced that Shawn Golz has joined the company as a sales representative for golf course, sports turf, lawn care and landscape maintenance customers in Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio.
Golz brings more than 17 years of experience in agricultural and turf equipment sales – and as a golf course superintendent – to his new role. Before joining PBI-Gordon, he was a wholesale sales rep with Nutrien Ag Solutions, a territory manager for Baker Vehicle Systems, and a golf course superintendent at Eagle Rock and Auglaize golf courses in Ohio.
“Shawn not only has outstanding technical expertise in turfgrass management, he’s also great at building trusting and productive relationships with customers,” said Brett Rieck, regional sales manager for PBI-Gordon. “He is destined to be a valuable member of the PBI-Gordon team, and we will all benefit greatly from his experience.”
Golz holds an associate of applied science in turfgrass science from the Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute.
