SePRO’s Legacy Turf Plant Growth Regulator received registration by the State of New York, including Long Island.
Legacy is an all-in-one PGR, providing turf growth regulation and extended control for up to four to six weeks across mixed turf stands. It is designed to improve turf quality while reducing the “rebound effect.”
“For years, superintendents in the states surrounding New York have used Legacy as a key component of their turf management program,” regional manager Joe Lynch said. “Courses in New York can now take advantage of the labor savings and turf quality benefits of Legacy.”
The addition of New York provides golf course superintendents throughout the state a new solution to reduce clippings, mowing and trimming on the course. In addition to use on greens, tees and fairways, Legacy can save time and labor on bunker faces and green surrounds.
“Legacy continues to prove itself time and time again as a long-lasting and safe solution for turf growth regulation even in the heat of the summer,” said senior technical development manager Dr. Kyle Briscoe.
Legacy also recently received EPA approval on non-golf turf, including sports turf. It’s available in 64-ounce or 2.5-gallon sizes and is now approved for use in all states except Alaska.
