Weems, 33, has office management experience, plus sales experience with several companies, and a degree in business administration from Missouri Southern State University.
“I’m a planner,” says Weems, “so I’m very excited to be helping plan golf events and outings.”
“We were very impressed with Melody from the beginning,” says Rocky River general manager Floyd Gragg. “Her qualifications and communication skills set her apart.”
McMurray, 24, has experience in the golf hospitality industry along with a degree in business administration with a concentration in hospitality from James Madison University.
McMurray has worked for Carmel Country Club in Charlotte, Piping Rock Country Club on Long Island, and Princess Anne Country Club in her hometown of Virginia Beach.
“I haven’t worked anywhere other than golf courses and restaurants, so it’s a perfect fit,” McMurray says.

McMurray says her goals are to increase the club’s banquet business and make local citizens more aware of the club’s dining options.
“Rocky River is a great place for lunch," McMurray says. "You can come in here, eat for a reasonable price and you don’t have to wait 45 minutes to be seated. We also have the capability of hosting birthday parties, family reunions and small weddings.”
McMurray will also oversee an upgrade in the menu offerings at Rocky River.
“We feel like we found a qualified manager in Jennifer,” Gragg says. “She is well-prepared for the position with her education at James Madison and her prior work experience.”
