Quali-Pro announced the launch of Prodoxaben, a pre-emergent selective herbicide with broad-spectrum weed control featuring prodiamine and isoxaben as active ingredients. Dandelions, clover, henbit, Poa, crabgrass and Barnyardgrass are among the weeds the herbicide controls.

Prodoxaben is now available in a granule formulation and will be available later this fall in a liquid formulation. Prodoxaben G can be applied from 100 pounds (two bags) to 200 pounds (four pounds) per acre annually without exceeding the maximum recommended annual rate of 357 pounds per acre.

The herbicide is labeled for use on established turfgrasses (excluding golf course greens), lawns, ornamental beds, conifer and hardwood seedling nurseries, as well as Christmas tree farms.
