Performance Nutrition has announced the promotion of Randy Rider to national sales manager for turf & ornamental products.
Rider has worked for Performance Nutrition for the past six years, serving as a territory manager and, most recently, as regional sales manager for turf & ornamental products. A former golf course superintendent, Rider holds a four-year bachelor of science degree in horticulture with an emphasis in turfgrass science from Oklahoma State University.
“I have spent my whole career in the T&O market,” Rider said. “Being able to bring high quality products to golf, sports turf, lawn care and the ornamental market is something that I have always been proud of, and, Performance Nutrition does it better than anyone else.”
“Randy is a valued member of the Performance Nutrition family,” company president Don Pucillo said. “He has proven year after year that he understands the industry and understands the needs of our customers. We are excited for Randy and we look forward to watching him grow within his new role at Performance Nutrition.”
“Performance Nutrition is a family organization that gives all the employees opportunities to grow personally with their families and professionally in the business,” Rider added. “Performance Nutrition believes in allowing their employees to take personal ownership in all aspects of the job; this in turn makes you feel like it is your company as well.”
