The employee-owners of PBI-Gordon Corporation have hired Brent Flander as national account manager and promoted Conrad Pannkuk to sales representative for Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas.
As national account manager, Flander will manage national accounts in the turf and ornamental markets of golf, landscape, and professional lawn care. He will be an active member of the key accounts team and will lead cross-functional teams to support the development and implementation of strategic business plans with key customers.
Prior to joining PBI-Gordon, Flander worked for years as a senior field sales representative at Bayer Crop Science. Before that, he was an agronomist at Heartland Cooperative. He holds a bachelor’s in agronomy from Iowa State University.
“Brent brings more than 21 years of industry experience to this role, including over 14 years of sales leadership experience,” PBI-Gordon sales VP Tim Demerath said. “We are excited to have Brent on board. Our customers and sales team will benefit greatly from his expertise in customer relationships.”
Pannkuk, meanwhile will be responsible for PBI-Gordon product sales to golf course and turfgrass management customers in Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas in his new role as sales representative. He will also further develop his sales territory and identify new business opportunities to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
Pannkuk joined PBI-Gordon in January 2022 as a sales support representative. Before that, he spent more than eight years in the golf course maintenance industry. Like Flander, he is a Cyclone, having earned his bachelor’s in horticulture and turfgrass management from Iowa State University.
“We are delighted to leverage Conrad’s skills and expertise by promoting him to a new role,” regional sales manager Dan Dumler said. “Conrad’s firsthand experience in golf course management, combined with his established knowledge of the PBI-Gordon product portfolio, will make him a valuable resource for the customers in his region.”
