Rated as perhaps North America's most difficult course, Oakmont Country Club has hosted more total USGA and PGA championships than any other U.S. course. This includes: eight United States Opens, five U.S. Amateurs, three PGA Championships, and two U.S. Women's Opens. The Henry Fownes designed course features 210 deep bunkers -- including the Church Pews -- fast and firm greens that slope away from players, and tight fairways.
Here are some exclusive images as crews of maintenance staff and volunteers make their final preparations for play.
