Troon has been selected to manage Oakhurst Country Club, a private facility located in Clayton, California, and will handle golf and club operations, food & beverage, retail, golf course agronomy, and membership marketing.

Troon has also named Noreen Rognlien, who worked previously at Contra Costa Country Club and Berkeley Country Club, as the club’s new general manager.

Named the “Best New Course in Northern California” by California Golf Magazine when it opened in 1990, Oakhurst Country Club features an 18-hole links-style layout designed by architect Ron Fream. The course plays through 360 acres of lakes and natural wetlands in the foothills of Mount Diablo. Its golf practice facilities include a double-sided driving range and three large putting greens.
