AJ Josefoski is the new head superintendent at The Legacy Club in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Josefoski joins the club from Pine Valley Golf Club, the world-renowned and top-ranked golf course, where he worked as senior assistant superintendent.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Josefoski is a 2016 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed the Penn State Golf Course Turfgrass Management Program in 2018. His professional journey has taken him to some of the country’s more elite golf courses, including Oakmont Country Club, Bidermann Golf Club and, for the last two years, Pine Valley.
Josefoski is known for his philosophy centered around delivering exceptional playing conditions while advocating for environmental sustainability. He is passionate about continuous learning, innovation, and using cutting-edge technologies to enhance both course quality and environmental stewardship. His approach aligns perfectly with The Legacy Club’s commitment to maintaining beautiful fairways and greens while respecting its natural surroundings.
Josefoski has been a GCSAA member since 2016 and remains involved with the Pennsylvania and New Jersey chapters. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with his fiancée, Claire, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Bill, in their Philadelphia home.
