Golf industry veteran Josh Ward will join KemperSports as vice president of new business development. Ward will be responsible for expanding KemperSports’ roster of managed and leased daily-fee courses, private clubs and destination resorts.
“Josh has a great background in golf and resort operations with a focus on generating revenue,” KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner said. “That keen understanding of the golf industry and passion for helping grow companies will make him a great addition to our team.”
Ward joins KemperSports after spending the last six years in revenue management and business development roles in the golf course management business, where he helped drive incremental revenues and secure multiple new management agreements. He began his career in sales with NBC Sports/Golf Channel and also spent time in resort operations and revenue management at PGA West and La Quinta Resort.
Ward earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in 2013 and his MBA from Ohio University in 2020.
