Imants and AQUA-AID Solutions announced the release of the new ShockWave linear decompactor. Visitors to AQUA-AID Solutions booth #2649 at the 2023 GCSAA Conference & Trade Show will receive initial glimpses of the product.
“The ShockWave has long been the leader in linear decompaction. Imants was the inventor of this machine. Our engineering department listened to end users from around the world over the past few years to redesign this unit with added benefits,” said Felix Peters, managing director of Imants. “The new ShockWave can easily be used on multiple grass types managed under different conditions with the pre-cutter roller and ability to change blade width sizes. It is truly one machine that can perform many tasks for the turf manager in one day.”
The Imants ShockWave has experienced sustained success in the sports turf industry for maximizing the ability to decompact the soil with little to no surface disruption for athletes. The Imants ShockWave reduces bulk density while increasing the soil’s ability to move water through the profile and enhance soil aeration.
“Imants continues to move the needle in their equipment lineup for turf managers,” AQUA-AID Solutions President Sam Green said. “The new ShockWave design will allow end users to manage compaction issues on a variety of grasses and mowing heights on fine turf with minimal disturbance to playing conditions.”Latest from Golf Course Industry
