Green Golf Partners, a division of Troon, has been selected to manage GreyStone Golf Club, a daily-fee facility in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
Located approximately 100 miles northwest of the Minneapolis/Saint Paul metropolitan area, GreyStone Golf Club features a Scottish-style, 18-hole golf course. The Tom Lehman-designed course has rolling hills, water features on nine holes and wide fairways. The club’s Old-English-style clubhouse sits on the western edge of Big Sauk Lake. GreyStone is open to daily-fee play, while also offering limited membership opportunities.
Brock Gardner recently joined the GreyStone team as the club’s new general manager. A native Minnesotan and a lifelong golfer, Gardner has 16 years of operations experience.
“Everyone here at GreyStone is ecstatic to partner with the team at Troon/Green Golf Partners,” board president Greg Johnson said. “We are confident that with their years of experience in the golf business and the best practices they employ, GreyStone will continue to grow to be the best golf club offering the best service and amenities in the area.”
The addition of GreyStone represents the growth commitment of Green Golf Partners into the state of Minnesota, and Troon’s overall growth into the fabric of the Midwest. Troon recently opened a Chicago office to support its growing collection of clubs in the region.
“I grew up in the Midwest and love Sauk Centre and GreyStone,” Green Golf Partners CEO Matt McIntee said. “GreyStone is a fabulous facility that offers great golf and more. The Cove is a cool lakeside restaurant and it is our goal to make this club the place to go in the region. We thank the Board for their confidence and pledge to meet or exceed the expectations of the patrons and area residents.
