Trojan Battery picks Thailand distributor

Trojan Battery Company announced a distribution agreement with Sports Turf Solutions (Thailand) Limited (STS) expanding Trojan’s presence in Thailand. As Trojan’s exclusive authorized master distributor, STS will be responsible for overseeing the distribution and servicing of Trojan products throughout the country.

“Trojan’s strategic master distributor program is a cornerstone of the company’s success in the battery marketplace,” said Dave Godber, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Trojan. “By expanding its distribution in Thailand with the addition of STS as an exclusive authorized distributor, Trojan can now better meet the growing demand for golf cart batteries featuring deep-cycle technology at the country’s more than 250 golf courses. Trojan also will address needs of the region’s other expanding market segments including renewable energy, floor machine, marine and aerial work platforms.”

STS is a supplier for the region’s golf industry and will offer Trojan’s line of deep-cycle flooded, AGM and gel batteries.
