The 2010 Golf Industry Show has come and gone, and preliminary numbers show year-over-year attendance was down.
The Golf Industry Show partners expect to release actual attendance numbers next week, but preliminary figures peg the attendee total at this year’s “Big Show” in San Diego around 16,000 – down about 7 percent from last year’s show in New Orleans. Organizers estimate there were 7,000 “qualified buyers,” which is flat over last year.
There were 100 fewer exhibitors than last year – down about 13 percent to 665 from last year’s 765 – and exhibit space was 204,300 square feet, down about 21 percent from last year’s 257,900 square feet.
