FMC Corporation announced that Zack Zaki has been named business director for FMC Global Specialty Solutions. Zaki assumes the role from Pramod Thota, who was recently named India country president and agricultural solutions business director for FMC.
In this role, Zaki is responsible for managing all aspects of the business and will lead the GSS team. With a focus on growing the GSS business in domestic and international specialty markets, Zaki will drive new strategies to enhance the presence of the business while expanding its customer base.
“Since I joined the GSS team, I have seen how dynamic the industry is across all segments,” Zaki said. “I look forward to leading the GSS team as we continue to partner with customers and meet their evolving needs.”
Zaki joined FMC as director of strategy and development in 2013 and led several strategic efforts across all FMC’s global businesses. Prior to FMC, he worked as an engagement manager for Booz & Company, a leading strategy consulting firm, now part of PwC. Zaki also has experience working as an automation engineer serving petrochemical customers across Southeast Asia and China. Zaki has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology and a MBA from Duke University.
