FMC Global Specialty Solutions announced it has filled a trio of key roles.
Hirings include Shawn Beam as North American sales manager for turf and ornamental, Jonathan Petrilak as lawn care market manager, and Alan Eife as programs manager & data analytics specialist.
Beam recently served as FMC’s herbicide product manager, so he has familiarity with the company’s entire portfolio of healthy plant growth and pest control products. Before joining FMC, Beam was North America marketing manager for ISK Americas and a sales representative for Syngenta. He has a decade of experience in the crop protection industry, including international business experience in Canada and Japan. Beam holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business from Penn State University and marketing strategy certification from Cornell University. He has been a board member for Beam Farms in Elverson, Pennsylvania, for over 13 years.
Petrilak served as account manager of Central Turf & Irrigation Supply, which recently signed an agreement to become a direct distributor of FMC products. Petrilak holds a bachelor of science degree in turf and turfgrass management from Delaware Valley University.
Eife previously worked as a demand planner for FMC and held the same position at Johnson Controls. He also worked as a supply planner for scholastic and identity and access management for AIG. He majored in supply chain and information systems and minored in information systems management at Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business.
