Panther National, a new residential community and private golf club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, has promoted Dan Fore to director of agronomy and Ryan Beech and Ryan Gurrola to course superintendents.
Fore has been with Panther National since the pre-construction of the course and has contributed to all aspects of the golf course development, playing a crucial role in shaping the club’s agronomic standards and playing conditions.
The team will oversee the maintenance of Panther National’s 18-hole championship course, The Big Cat, designed by Jack Nicklaus and current PGA star Justin Thomas, along with the par-3 course Panther9 and practice areas. Fore will work closely with founder Dominik Senn, Nicklaus and Thomas on all course enhancements.
“We are excited to welcome these three golf agronomy experts into their new roles at Panther National. With a combined 60 plus years of unparalleled experience, innovative problem-solving, and specialized skillsets, we are confident they will further elevate our pristine golf facilities,” Senn said. “Under Fore’s expert leadership, the team will be instrumental in not only maintaining and enhancing Panther’s facilities but also spearheading new areas of our development, allowing us to achieve an unprecedented level of excellence in the South Florida residential golf market.”
Fore’s appointment to director of agronomy expands upon his impressive four decades of experience, in which he has worked in every facet of golf agronomy. His most notable endeavor prior to joining Panther National was working for Greg Norman Design. Alongside Greg Norman, Fore facilitated the design, construction and establishment of 22 courses in the U.S., Caribbean, Europe, and Mexico. Other notable golf course experience comes from Jupiter Hills Club, Medalist Golf Club and Wade Hampton Golf Club.
Beech boasts over 17 years of experience in the golf industry, in which he has developed deep expertise in golf course maintenance and renovation along the way. His career has spanned roles such as vice president of TDI Golf and assistant golf professional.
Gurrola is also a well-seasoned golf course maintenance professional with over five years in the industry. His career and passion have led him to prestigious clubs, including Metropolis Country Club in White Plains, New York, and Eldorado Country Club in Indian Wells, California.
