ClubCorp has announced the acquisition of Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club, previously member-owned private club in the Sonoma Wine Country of Northern California. ClubCorp plans a multimillion-dollar capital project that will bring improvements to the clubhouse, golf course and practice facilities and pool.
“We are very excited about the addition of Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club, a perfect complement to ClubCorp’s portfolio,” ClubCorp COO Mark Burnett said. “Our many traveling members will now be able to take advantage of their golf, dining and tennis benefits while visiting San Francisco and California’s famed Wine Country.”
The company’s presence in the Northern California area includes Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville, Silicon Valley Capital Club in San Jose, and Empire Ranch Golf Club, Granite Bay Golf Club, Teal Bend Golf Club and Turkey Creek Golf Club in Sacramento.
Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club marks the 11th club acquired by ClubCorp in the past 14 months and further increases the company’s portfolio of owned and operated clubs, which stands at over 200 clubs in 26 states, the District of Columbia, Mexico and China.
“The members at Santa Rosa look forward to being a part of the ClubCorp family and appreciate the value the ClubCorp Network brings coupled with ClubCorp’s commitment to excellence in their clubs,” said Mark Matthews, president of the club’s board of directors.
Located 55 miles north of San Francisco, Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club features a beautiful 18-hole parkland golf course designed to be played by golfers of all skill levels.
