Ken Clemmer has entered the final two weeks of his tenure as SynaTek President and CEO. The company announced earlier this year Clemmer will retire effective Dec. 31. He is being succeeded by Nate Clemmer, the company’s COO since 2012. The new ownership structure will include Nate Clemmer, Billy Willard and Bob Willard. Ken Clemmer will remain as chairman of the board through 2017.
"We value our partnership with Ken and are proud of the company we've built together. Bob and I are looking forward to continuing SynaTek's growth under Nate Clemmer's leadership," said Billy Willard, CEO of Willard Agri-Service.
SynaTek is known for its ability to design and implement value-added solutions that solve significant challenges for their customers. With this transition, SynaTek's wholesale business customers can expect continuity of ownership, management and the same high-quality products and services.
"A lot of our success over the past few years has been due to Nate's entrepreneurial influence. He's extremely good at developing creative new business ideas," Ken Clemmer said. "When you put Nate's talents together with the strong management team currently in place, I'm confident SynaTek is in good hands."
"SynaTek has grown substantially over the past 12 years and that's a credit to our entire team of people who put their hearts and souls into their work,” Nate Clemmer said. “It's a tradition of success I look forward to continuing.”
Ken Clemmer is considered a mentor to numerous industry professionals and he guided PrimeraTurf through a tenuous period while serving as the organization’s chairman.
