Bernhard and Company is providing support for Le Golf National, the French course preparing for the Open de France June 28 to July 1 and Ryder Cup later this fall. The Golf National use Bernhard’s Express Dual 5000 and Anglemaster 3000DX precision grinders to ensure greens remain in pristine condition throughout the tournament.
Le Golf National is the permanent home of the French Open for which Bernhard and their partner Macdis will provide tournament support this year again.
The tournament support provided for the Paris Legends championship in September last year involved three days of preparing, sharpening and conditioning 52 cutting units to get the golf course in best possible condition ready for the first day of practise, presenting a perfect opportunity to rehearse for this year’s biggest event Le Golf National has known: the 2018 Ryder Cup.
“Le Golf National is a prestigious venue in Europe we are very happy to support. We are looking forward to working with Alejandro and his team to help them prepare for the most famous competition of the year.” said Steve Nixon, director for Bernhard. “We’re honoured to play a key role in ensuring turf conditions are close to perfect for what will be a key year for Le Golf National’s fantastic course.”
“Bernhard Grinders have been a mainstay in our maintenance facility for years,” said Alejandro Reyes superintendent, Le Golf National. “Our team depends on their unmatched precision, ease of use, reliability to make our course shine not just for the world’s best professionals, but for play by members and guests on a daily basis.”
TPC Sawgrass (THE PLAYERS Championship; Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.), Wentworth Club (BMW PGA Championship; Surrey, England) and the London Golf are other facilities benefitting from Bernhard’s trademark Express Dual and Anglemaster machines.
