The Aquatrols Company has launched a Sports Turf division that will focus on the specific needs of sports field management professionals.
Aquatrols will focus on solution-driven innovations and identifying product enhancements through soil hydration and nutrition research. The company said that future research and development efforts will be put toward developing products that specifically address the unique needs of sports field managers and provide the best possible playability, player safety and overall field aesthetics.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this company and to help turf professionals more effectively manage their water inputs” said general manager Erick Koskinen, a former golf course superintendent and a sales leader at both Precision Labs and Aquatrols. “I remember what it was like to try to keep turf thriving during high stress and heavy play. It’s exciting to have an incredible team who are all committed to the success of today’s turf grass managers.”
Other key business unit leaders include director of sports turf Greg Sinner, sports turf territory manager, Ian Grove, global technical services manager Christian Baldwin, portfolio development manager Robert Wilson, and U.S. marketing manager Kate Garassino.
