Nufarm Americas Inc. announced the EPA registration of Anuew EZ Plant Growth Regulator.
Anuew EZ is a novel liquid formulation of Nufarm’s proven PGR that will provide golf course superintendents with greater flexibility and ease of use while leveraging the benefits of labor savings and improved turf quality.
“As part of our commitment as a partner for growth, Nufarm has been the proven technical leader for this transformational PGR technology” said Blaine Pinkerton, vice president, turf & ornamental sales. “The culmination of decades of research, development, field testing and collaboration with our university extensions, partners and superintendents has made Anuew a golf course success story and we’re excited to offer the advantages that Anuew EZ will bring.”
Nufarm’s Anuew EZ liquid formulation is a late-stage GA inhibitor that delivers long-lasting growth regulation on cool-season turf and faster regulation on warm season-turf. The technology is also proven to improve turfgrass quality by shifting carbohydrates to the plant roots, visibly improving turf density, color and appearance.
“Anuew EZ is providing superintendents with tomorrow’s turfgrass technology to solve today's challenges on their course,” said Jeff Eldridge, Nufarm’s U.S. golf segment Lead. “Nufarm has evolved a proven AI to deliver important results – now with even better application ease and flexibility.”
Nufarm will offer a demo program in June as state registrations are received for superintendents to trial a half gallon of Anuew EZ. The solution will be available in the fall as part of the upcoming Nufarm Edge Rewards Program.
Anuew EZ is labelled for all major warm- and cool-season turf, including common and hybrid Bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, St. Augustine, paspalum, and kikuyugrass as well as bentgrass, Poa annua, Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and tall and fine fescues.
