Jacobsen has announced it will be establishing direct distribution capabilities to serve customers in North and Central Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
The company believes it can better support customers in these regions by servicing them directly. Jacobsen will be increasing stocking levels in the Southeast and adding additional sales and service staff.
This change comes on the heels of Jacobsen recently establishing direct operations in the Western and Midwestern United States, which has helped create success and stability for customers.
“We believe we can ensure our customers are getting the highest level of support in the industry by serving them directly in Florida, Georgia and Alabama,” said Ric Stone, vice president of sales and marketing for Jacobsen. “Our existing direct efforts in the West and Midwest U.S. have been very successful and we will leverage what we’ve learned in those areas to continue our growth in these important territories.”
Jacobsen will serve as a full-service dealer that will serve hundreds of golf courses and sports fields in Florida, Georgia and Alabama, including such notable Jacobsen customers as Plantation Bay Country Club in Ormond Beach, the Golf Lodge at The Quarry in Naples and Daytona International Speedway.
