Reinders, Inc. has announced that Brian Placzkowski and Jerry Kershasky have joined the company to help serve the Chicago market.

Placzkowski will work with golf courses as a territory manager with the commercial equipment division. He has been the assistant superintendent at Royal Melbourne Country Club in Long Grove, Ill., for the past four years. Prior to joining Royal Melbourne, he served as an intern at The Ivanhoe Club in Lake County, Ill.
Placzkowski has a bachelor of science degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, where he majored in plant and soil science and specialized in turf management.
Kershasky brings 40 years of golf course industry experience with him. Most recently, he served as superintendent of University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wis. Prior to that, he worked for Reinders as a sales representative in the Chicago market. When he was superintendent at Westmoor Country Club in Brookfield, Wis., he supervised a major course renovation in 2008 which included an XGD drainage install and the fumigation and regrassing of greens. Kershasky is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a bachelor of science degree.
