With Ontario’s new ban on pesticides, set to take effect April 22, prohibiting the sale and use of pesticides for cosmetic purposes on lawns, gardens, parks and school yards, the news is grim for Canadian lawn care operators.

Allen James, president of the Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment, discusses how superintendents can work in unity with U.S. green industry professionals to deter similar bans here in the states.
