Jim Black

Jim Black is sorta GCI's Captain Kirk of the web -- going boldly where no turfhead has gone before.  He's been tending turf in the transition zone for nearly 20 years, and writing about it for 10. A graduate of the University of Maryland's Institute of Applied Agriculture, he has been an irrigation and spray technician, Assistant, and spent 8-years as Golf Course Superintendent. He can be reached via email at greenkeeperjim@yahoo.com.
