To accommodate regional growth interests and opportunities, Troon recently expanded and opened a corporate office in Newton, Massachusetts, just outside Boston. The Chapel Street location serves as the regional headquarters for RealFood Hospitality Strategy and Design, while supporting managed-clubs throughout Troon, including Troon Golf and Troon Privé.
Alongside the Newton-Needham Regional Chamber, the local team hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 27.
The new office’s physical footprint includes workspace for the organization’s current team of designers, project managers and specialists, as well as remote workstations and meeting areas to host visiting clients and partners. The build out, which aptly includes a custom kitchen design, was a collaboration of many people and local businesses.
“The office represents much of what makes this team of hospitality experts so remarkable,” Troon president and CEO Tim Schantz said. “Our Boston office will help service current and future facilities throughout the Northeast, while providing an ideal environment for team members to work.”
RealFood Hospitality Strategy and Design is a premier foodservice design and advisory firm serving the global hospitality industry. RealFood’s work has included concept development, foodservice design, operational advisory and brand development for more than 500 domestic and international clients.
“Our new office is a major milestone. I am constantly reminded of all the time and effort dedicated to get us here,” said Ed Doyle, president and original founder of RealFood and senior vice president of food and beverage at Troon. “We are driven by our belief in the importance of the hospitality experience and that our people are our magic. Our new office reflects just that, and it allows for an even more collaborative culture for the RealFood team, our Troon family and the many clients and partners we are fortunate to work with every day. The room to problem-solve and innovate is more important than ever, especially given that the work we are doing right now is shaping the future of hospitality.”
In addition to its headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, Troon now has offices in Newton; Chicago; Seattle; Birmingham, Alabama; Irvine, California; Jacksonville, Florida; New Braunfels, Texas; Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
