First New Pre-Emergent Active Ingredient in Over a Decade
StriCore® Herbicide introduces a new active ingredient to the golf market, offering an innovative solution for pre-emergent weed control. It’s a game-changer for superintendents looking to stay ahead of weed resistance.
Targets Problematic Weeds
StriCore effectively manages tough weeds, including Poa annua, Goosegrass and Crabgrass. For best agronomic results, integrating StriCore into a program with overlapping residual herbicides is essential.
For Use on Warm- and Cool-Season Turf
StriCore is safe for use on both warm- and cool-season turf species, making it a reliable option for a wide variety of courses.
Underutilized Mode of Action
Unlike commonly used turf pre-emergent herbicides, StriCore works by inhibiting weed shoot growth rather than root growth, minimizing damage to turfgrass.
Broad-Spectrum Resistance Management
StriCore is ideal for areas with known or suspected resistance challenges. Incorporating it into pre-emergent programs reduces reliance on Group 3 (such as prodiamine) herbicides, providing a balanced, diversified weed management approach.
Flexible Tank-Mixing
Enhance weed control with StriCore by tank-mixing it with other pre-emergent herbicides, simplifying the application process. This approach expands coverage and extends control duration.
Application Simplicity
At the recommended rate of 48 ounces per acre, one gallon covers 2.67 acres. Activate the product with just 0.25 inches of irrigation or rainfall within seven days of application.
Excellent Safety Profile
Apply StriCore after the second mowing once the grass has developed a uniform stand and strong root system. For reseeding, overseeding, or sodding, wait at least eight weeks after application.
Easy-to-Use, Low-Odor Formulation
StriCore offers a non-staining, low-odor formulation, ensuring ease of application and no disruption to play.
