Prime Source has announced the registration of Azoxy D Select and AzProp G Select fungicides and Flumioxazin 51 WDG Select herbicide.
Azoxy D Select contains the active ingredients azoxystrobin and difenconazole, with two modes of action to provide broad spectrum disease control in golf course turf. Azoxy D Select offers resistance management utility, even under high temperature conditions with no adverse growth regulation or phytotoxicity. Azoxy D Select is labeled for the control of more than 20 turf diseases, including anthracnose, brown patch, dollar spot, fairy ring, gray leaf spot and numerous patch diseases.
“The registration of Azoxy D Select expands our diverse offering of golf course fungicides and serves as a useful tool for golf course superintendents to combat a broad range of turf diseases, even during high periods of high heat and humidity without phytotoxicity or growth regulation to their turf,” Prime Source senior vice president Justin Watts said.
AzProp G Select granular fungicide contains the two active ingredients azoxystrobin and propiconazole, and is recommended for the control of certain pathogens causing foliar, stem, and root diseases, including leaf and stem blights, leaf spots, patch diseases, mildews, anthracnose, fairy rings, molds and rusts of turfgrass plants.
“The registration of AzProp G Select offers two powerful active ingredients to treat a wide-variety of common turf diseases in a convenient granular formulation. AzProp G Select also serves as a valuable resistance management tool, featuring actives from both group 3 and 11 fungicide classes,” Prime Source director of national accounts Steve Jedrzejek said. “Prime Source is pleased to offer this new granular fungicide registered for golf courses, lawns and landscape areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields."
Flumioxazin 51 WDG Select contains the active ingredient flumioxazin and provides both pre-emergent and early post-emergent control of over 100 tough to control weeds, including annual bluegrass, chickweed, crabgrass, groundsel, oxalis, purslane, spurge, thistles and numerous aquatic weeds.
“The registration of Flumioxazin 51 WDG Select provides applicators a versatile tool to control a large variety of weeds, both as a pre-emergent and as an early post-emergent in various applications,” Prime Source director of technical services Bret Corbett said. “Prime Source is pleased to offer this new herbicide registered for use in landscape and nursery ornamentals, on dormant warm-season turfgrass, aquatic weed control and bare ground applications.”
Azoxy D Select, AzProp G Select and Flumioxazin 51 WDG Select are available through the Prime Source distribution network.
