Jacobsen has announced the introduction of the new HR600 class-leading 11.4-foot width-of-cut rotary mower. The HR600 is designed to deliver more uptime and less upkeep.
Featuring individual hydraulic deck motors with self-lubricating integral bearings, a fully sealed rear axle, and parking brakes integrated into the front wheel motors, operators can save up to 50 hours of annual routine maintenance.
“We’ve introduced a mower that is the easiest unit to maintain in its class; this means that our customers can spend less time servicing their mower and more time cutting,” said David Withers, President & CEO of Jacobsen. “The HR600 has the same great features as the HR Series and delivers exceptional efficiency, productivity, and comfort.”
With a cutting capacity of up to 13.8 acres per hour and a 65.2 hp Kubota diesel engine delivering exceptional mowing power, the HR600 is ideal for a variety of applications, including golf courses, sports fields, parks and green spaces, schools, and airports.
The H600 features the InCommand console with onboard diagnostics for quick and easy troubleshooting. New SureStrength decks constructed with high-strength, high-performance steel deliver greater durability in a lighter, more sustainable design.
The new AdaptiCut system on the HR600 automatically adjusts mow speed to ensure consistent cut performance even through the thickest grass.
Built with operator safety in mind, the HR600 exclusively features Tilt Sensor Technology (TST) to automatically monitor slope angles and alert operators when nearing unsafe mowing conditions.
Excellent operator experience extends to the optional factory installed, ROPS certified, and climate-controlled cab. This superior cabin focuses on comfort and ergonomics with reduced noise and vibration and is outfitted with A/C, heat, ventilation windows and a premium air suspension seat.
The HR600 is the third mower in a new series of wide-area rotary mowers from Jacobsen. Earlier this year, Jacobsen launched the HR Series with the HR700 and HR800.
