“This well-located vibrant golf club with its reputable 18-hole course, expansive lighted practice area with indoor and outdoor heated and shaded bays aligns with our company’s goal to grow the game of golf,” Heritage Golf Group President and CEO Mark Burnett said. “The teaching professionals and their active individual and group lessons along with robust junior camps and clinics for all ages are well aligned with our company’s growth initiatives. We’re excited about creating even more innovative golf and entertainment experiences that attract and retain loyal golfers.”
The daily-fee club draws from local businesses and the growing residential market of the area, and Heritage Golf Group is planning a significant capital investment to modernize certain areas of the club. The club has been open to the public since 2009 and holds an 18-hole course, practice areas and a large outdoor patio adjacent to a rentable private event space.
Heritage will operate the club under a long-term lease with Lerner Enterprises and the Tower Companies.
“Lerner Enterprises and the Tower Companies are pleased to have Heritage Golf Group acquire the leasehold interest in our 1757 Golf Club,” said Arthur Fuccillo of Lerner Enterprises. “With decades of senior leadership in the golf industry, we look forward to a long-term relationship working with Mark Burnett and his team and becoming the latest addition to their growing portfolio of high-quality golf properties.”
