GCI surveyed nearly 300 superintendents, chosen randomly from our circulation list, about what part plant growth regulators (PGRs) played in their maintenance programs. The vast major of superintendents indicated they did use PGRs, spending on average about $5,175 on products. And despite the challenging economy and financial stress on maintenance budgets, nearly half (47 percent) report PGR spending has remained consistent.
