Aquamatic launches commercial control valves

Valves are designed for agriculture, turf irrigation and car wash applications.

Taking advantage of parallel markets, Pentair Flow Technologies is pleased to announce the launch of AquaMatic commercial control valves through its BERKELEY distribution network.  AquaMatic control valves are designed for agriculture, turf irrigation, and car wash applications and are available in cast iron or composite materials, with sizes to accommodate ¾ to 6 inch pipe. These valves share characteristics of excellent flow rates at low pressure drops and low cost of operation.

The AquaMatic K520 Series composite control valves feature long diaphragm life, cost-effective design, and corrosion-resistant materials. They can accommodate ½ inch to 2 ½ inch pipe, and can be easily serviced while the valve is in-line. The AquaMatic 420 Series cast iron control valves feature extremely durable construction, separate diaphragm chambers for long life, and a Y-Pattern Diaphragm for higher flow rates at lower pressure. They can accommodate ¾ inch to 3 inch threaded pipe; or 3 inch to 6 inch flange drilled pipe. Both are adaptable to a wide variety of control devices.

Worldwide Reputation
“AquaMatic control valves are known worldwide for high quality and high value” said Jim Hughes, Vertical Marketing Manager for Pentair Flow Technologies. “Now our BERKELEY distribution and customers will be able to enjoy the well-deserved reputation of being simple to maintain, and easily serviced by maintenance staff.” According to Hughes, AquaMatic valves are industry-proven to be durable and have lower life-cycle costs than competitive valves. AquaMatic valves are available through a network of more than 5,000 authorized dealers throughout North America.
