CHICAGO and LAWRENCE, Kan. - In late May, the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) launched the first of their joint online courses to present content from the ASGCA’s Remodeling University programs to golf facilities.
“Remodeling 101: Examining and Evaluating Your Facility” is the first in a planned three-part series. This course is designed to focus on the process of evaluating a facility in order to make informed decisions about whether to remodel, renovate or restore an existing layout or features.
The first course is available to GCSAA members for $40, or to non-members for $60. Those who complete the online course will receive 0.2 continuing education units. The schedule for the remaining two modules is as follows:
- “Remodeling 101: Preparing, Packaging and Implementing a Remodeling Project” will be available toward the end of 2003.
- “Remodeling 101: Protecting Your Investment” will be available in summer 2004.
