Seed Research of Oregon hires business development manager

Seed Research of Oregon has announced that Michael Billman will join the company May 9 as business development manager.

 

With a broad knowledge of turf, forage, native grasses and wildflowers, Billman brings more than 20 years of seed industry experience to his new position. He has been active in sales and sales management, operations, production, and most recently, general management.

 

"We are excited to have Mike join us,” said Bill Dunn, executive vice president of Seed Research. “The breadth of his experience coupled with his passion for the seed business makes Mike a great addition to the Seed Research of Oregon team!"

 

As business development manager, Billman will work with both new and existing customers domestically, as well as assist current management in the areas of customer service, sales, production and forecasting. He will operate out of the business’ office in Tangent, Ore.
